The Canary Islands consist of seven islands.

Tenerife is the biggest of the Canary Islands, with a area of 2.041 km² ,  and a population of 920.427 inhabitants. The Capital is Santa Cruz de Tenerife with 203.585 inhabitants.

Language: Spanish, the pronunciation is more like Spanish spoken in Andalusia or South America.

Airports: TFS Tenerife Sur Reina Sophia, TFN Tenerife Norte Los Rodeos

Port: Port de Tenerife (8 km to town)

The Canary Islands belong to Macaronesia, Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands and Cape Verde. All are Islands of volcanic origin.

Fuerteventura is about 100 km (62 miles) off the African Coast (Mauritania)  and 1,379 km (1005 miles) from the Madrid. The Solitude Isle (Nickname) or also called the "The Old Country" is the second-largest Canary Island with 1,660 square kilometer (641 square miles) and with 80,000 population. It is a biosphere by UNESCO.

Gran Canaria is the third-largest Canary Island with 1,560 square kilometer (602 square miles) and with 838,397 population. 

Capital is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria  with around 377.650 population. It is the Capital of the province Las Palmas and the second Capital of the Canary Islands next to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Airport: LPA, Airport Gando is about 22 km from Las Palmas.

Port: Santa Catalina Cruise Terminal, To La Vegueta 6 km to the south.

Lanzarote is about 125 km (78 miles) off the African Coast (Mauritania)  and 1,000 km (621 miles) from the Iberian Peninsula. Lanza (Nickname) is the fourth-largest Canary Island with 845.9 square kilometer (326.6 square miles) and with 141,938 inhabitants it is the third-most populated island. Its capital is Arrecife. (means Reef)

Airport: ACE, Arrecife airport is about 5 km (3.1 mi) southwest of the town Arrecife.

Port: docking at La Boca de Puerto Naos (1 km) or at  Muelle de los Marmoles (3o min walk)

La Palma , also San Miguel de La Palma, is the most north-westerly island of the Canary Islands. La Palma is the fifth largest of the seven main Canary Islands, it has an area of 706 square km . The total population is about 86,000, of which 18,000  live in the capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma.

Airport: SPC, located in Breña Baja and Villa de Mazo, 8 km (5.0 mi) south of the city of Santa Cruz de La Palma on La Palma

La Gomera is about 1,300 km from Spain, 300 km from from Africa. Garajonay National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Population 21.153, Provinz Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Capital San Sebastian (population 8.699) 

The island was awarded the World Biosphere Reserve status in 2011.

El Hierro is the smallest island of the Canary Islands is 268.7 km² big

with a population of 10889 and about 35 km wide and long.

El Hierro discover the biosphere reserve, with its lava fields, lush valleys, volcanoes and dramatic soaring cliff scenery. El Hierro is an ideal destination for eco and nature tourism.  The island has been classified a biosphere reserve by UNESCO.
